Complex Care – Support Worker Full Time Temporary NEW

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Complex Support Worker to provide high-quality care and assistance to an individual with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supported living or home care environments, demonstrating expertise in managing complex care requirements. As a Complex Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our person we support with conditions such as Cerebral Palsy , Epilepsy, complex learning disabilities and PEG feeding.

Duties

• Deliver comprehensive Person Centered Care tailored to the individuals needs, including medication administration and health monitoring.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility support.
• The Person we support is in their early 20’s, so would need individuals who are self motivated, fun, energetic and with a great sense of humour. The Person we support loves to play games, swimming, go on days out and have fun!
• Operate vehicles for client transportation when required, ensuring safe driving practices. Driver must hold a valid UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.

Requirements

• Knowledge of patient care practices including medication administration, first aid, and health & safety protocols. ( Preferred )
• Strong caregiving skills complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Valid driving license for client transportation duties is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in meal preparation and managing dietary restrictions for diverse needs.
• Minimum 2-3 years Care Experience, with ideal candidates holding a minimum of an NVQ Level 2
