Avnish Goyal to host the 2019 Leaders in Care Awards

Hallmark Care Homes and Care England Chair Avnish Goyal is to host the inaugural 2019 Leaders in Care Awards.
Avnish will present the event, launched by Care Home Professional and sister title, Home Care Insight, on the first night of the Care Show, Wednesday 9 October, at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.
“I am incredibly excited to be hosting the inaugural Leaders in Care Awards,” Avnish said.
“The fun-filled dinner event will honour the care sector’s finest examples of best practice, dedication and innovation and I cannot wait to celebrate the talent amongst the industry’s leading care home providers and suppliers.”
Lee Peart, Editor of CHP, added: “As Chair of Hallmark Care Homes and Care England and a founding trustee of the Care Workers Charity, Avnish plays a leading role in promoting the interests of social care providers and their workforces. We are delighted Avnish has agreed to host our inaugural awards event.”
Nominations are now open for the awards. Companies are invited to nominate themselves by filling in an official nomination form, or they are free to nominate any other businesses they feel deserve recognition.
There are two nomination forms – one for the care home provider categories and one for the supplier categories. Both are incredibly simple to fill in and can be downloaded below.

Deadline for entry is Wednesday 31 July 2019.

Once the nomination process has closed, shortlisted entries will be voted for online by the industry to determine the winners.
The winners will be announced at the awards on October 9. The evening will start at 7pm with a drinks reception followed by a three-course dinner and the presentation of awards to the country’s leading providers and suppliers across residential and domiciliary care.
