Belong triumphs at Investors in People Awards

Care village operator Belong has scooped a prestigious international honour at this year’s Investors in People Awards.

The care company took the Excellence in the Third Sector award recognising the best not for profit organisations for over 500 employees for its investment in class-leading recruitment, training and development programmes.

Belong Chief Executive, Tracy Stakes, said: “It is an honour to have won this international award. Providing our people with development opportunities is a huge part of Belong’s culture, ethos and commitment to high quality care and so to be recognised for our work in this area, by the UK organisation acting as the standard bearer for people management, is extremely gratifying.”

Belong was honoured for demonstrating high levels of employee engagement through a mix of road shows, innovative dementia training programmes, inspirational coaching, its culture of continuous improvement and effective change management.
