Caring Homes Group (CHG) has been commended by the HRH The Princess Royal for its commitment to learning and development.

The care home provider was one of 48 businesses recognised by the City & Guilds Group’s 2018 Princess Royal Training Awards.

The Princess Royal Training Awards honours UK employers who have created outstanding training and skills development programmes which have resulted in exceptional commercial benefits.

CHG was recognised for its Future Leaders Programme which has contributed to two care homes gaining Outstanding, reduced turnover and positive feedback from relatives and colleagues.

The training programme fully supports CHG’s strategy, ensuring delegates are developing skills, knowledge and confidence relevant to their role and professional development. In addition, the programme is creating a strong network of colleagues who are keen to take ownership of their challenges and future successes and is providing colleagues with a more rewarding career.
