Caring Homes Group service features in ITV’s For the Love of Dogs

The Pines nursing home in Wandsworth, London featured in ITV’s For the Love of Dogs this week.

The show’s host Paul O’Grady took abandoned dog Chester to the home as part of a therapy session.

Julie Twidle, Home Manager at The Pines, said: “We had a busy day when Paul and the team and the dogs were here filming and Paul was great with all our residents.”

Betty the Chihuahua and Olive the Bichon cross also visited The Pines with their handler Ali Taylor. Both small dogs loved being made a fuss of and sitting on people’s laps.

The Pines nursing home in Wandsworth, London is situated in a beautiful period property in Putney. It provides residential and nursing care for up to 42 elderly residents.

CQC inspectors rated the home ‘good’ following its last inspection in July.

The episode of For the Love of Dogs was screened on Wednesday night on ITV at 8.30pm.
