Strictly Come Dancing star Ian Waite officially opened a £13m Hallmark care home in Girton, Cambridge.

Ian cut the ribbon for Arlington Manor Care Home during an event attended by 200 people, including residents, families, staff and members of the local community.

Ian said: “It is an absolute honour to be here and I cannot believe how much detail has gone into this place. It’s not a care home, it’s a home. The space and the light is astounding and I’m sure anybody would want to come here.”
