Staff and residents at Woodlands & Hill Brow Group are celebrating an ‘outstanding’ double.

Woodlands care home in Fleet, Hampshire and Hill Brow in Farnham, Surrey joined the top 3.5% of adult social care services following inspections by the CQC.

Owner, Alison Lee, said: “I am so incredibly proud of all the staff and all the hard work and training they constantly do to ensure our residents achieve the best quality of life.”

Woodlands retained its top rating after previously being rated outstanding by the CQC in November 2016.

The CQC complimented the home for its “exceptionally high quality care from staff who were passionate about delivering personalised care in a dignified and respectful way”.

Commenting on Hill Brow, which was rated ‘good’ in its previous inspection, the CQC noted its “zero use of agency staff” and praised staff for treating residents “with kindness and compassion”, adding “there was visibly a person centred culture, underpinned by the providers principles, values and expectations”.

Resident Liaison Manager, Elizabeth Butt, who has been with the company for 19 years, said: “Our residents become our family, we treat anybody who visits our homes with the upmost dignity and respect, it is my pleasure to be able to meet wonderful people every day.”
