Learning disability care provider, Consensus, appoints new managing director

Eddie Morgan has been appointed managing director of Consensus Support Services.

Part of the Caring Homes Group, Consensus is a leading specialist provider of accommodation and support for over 650 people with a learning disability, autism, and additional complex needs in over 90 services across the UK.

Eddie said: “I am honoured to have been appointed managing director of Consensus. I look forward to building upon the excellent work of our teams to ensure we continue to continuously improve and grow. Consensus is well positioned to meet market challenges and continue to deliver the highest quality of support.”

Eddie replaces James Allen and brings more than 20 years of social care experience to the role, working as director of operations, Consensus for the past five years.

Consensus has recently been awarded a number of ‘outstanding’ ratings by CQC and Ofsted, with 95.2% of its services being rated ‘good’ to outstanding.
