The Care Show 2018 gets underway

Over 3,400 members of the care community will attend The Care Show 2018 at the Birmingham NEC over the next two days.

This year’s event, which promises to be bigger and better than ever, features more than 80 speakers, over 60 conference sessions and four theatres.

The seminar programme has been given an overhaul and changed into a full blown CPD accredited conference.  The talks have been curated to provide you with inspiring yet informative presentations to boost your levels of care, motivate your team and drive efficiency.

A distinguished line-up of speakers, includes Minister of State for Care, Caroline Dinenage, Professor Martin Green, Chief Executive Officer, Care England, Avnish Goyal, Chair of Hallmark Care Homes, Ed Russell, Director of Innovation and Care, WCS Care, Dr Sanjeev Kanoria, Chair of Advinia Healthcare, Jayne Connery, Founder/Director, Campaign for the Vulnerable and Derek Breingan, Head of Healthcare and Clydesdale Bank.

Sessions cover a wide range of topics, including the social care Green Paper, the state of adult social care services, leadership, how to get ‘outstanding’, the future of dementia care, digital technologies, the care funding market and preparing for a CQC inspection.
